It’s Here! Fundr’s First Portfolio Launches with 15 Companies

We set out to build Fundr with a vision for startup investing where every company with a world-changing idea has the opportunity to get funding from investors. We see a future where investors are equipped with the deep data and information they need to create smart, diversified portfolios.

Today, we are excited to announce a huge next step towards that brighter future with the launch of our first portfolio of 15 startups!

We are raising $1.5 million to support our portfolio companies with $100,000 each via convertible notes to prove our thesis that startup investing is ready for real change. With our launch, Fundr is now open to accredited investors to apply and invest in the portfolio.

Our proprietary AI technology helped us select these 15 companies from 450 global startup applications. Every company on the Fundr platform receives a Fundr Score™, which is the result of crunching 90 different data points that startups submit about their market, traction, and team - the details every investor wants to know. Investors benefit from key features like standardized term sheets, automatic money transfers, and productive communications tools that enable relationship-building with investees.

The most exciting thing about this portfolio is that it exemplifies the diversity that investors are looking for, but say they don’t have the time or network to find. So many startups get the opportunity to win funding because they have relationships or networks that enable them to meet investors and pitch their ideas. Founders living outside of tech hubs and founders who are traditionally underrepresented in the tech industry are too often left out.
